"City of Ghosts" and "Along the sea" are the core films for prevention and awareness campaign "Do you see me?" of the A21 Foundation, a non-governmental organization fighting human trafficking for 15 years. The films tell true stories of Bulgarians, like you and me, who became victims of human trafficking in Bulgaria and abroad. Both films have already won a number of awards at international film festivals in Bulgaria and across Europe. The campaign is focused on bringing public attention to the severity of this crime, which is often under-recognized, while the number of victims continue to grow. Further, it aims to empower every Bulgarian with knowledge to protect themselves and those around them from becoming involved in trafficking. Discussion to follow after the screening.
